Crumpton Cycles, New Violet Crown Sponsor in 2008
Nick Crumpton, Austin bike builder par excellence, announced today that his company, Crumpton Cycles, will be a general jersey sponsor for Violet Crown in 2008. Please welcome Nick and his custom carbon fiber bikes to the VC sponsorship team. For those of you who attended last month's club meeting ...you got to see one of Nick's frames up close - Jay Bond brought his Crumpton Carbon Frame Set to the meeting --- it was definitely a work of art.

Jay Bond has graciously offered to hang his lovely Crumpton frameset from the ceiling in the club room at Mangia Pizza, Mesa at Spicewood -- sort of like an Alexander Calder kinda mobile thingy -- at least until he can scrape up the dinero to pop for a build kit.
